Very important announcement concerning OCOTM.

EDIT from Emmystuck: You can't lock us out of the account as I have access to the email and you won't be able to change the password without my consent So I'll always be tied to this until we find someone extremely trustworthy and who we think is doing the job well enough to have access to the email account.

I'm posting this here because I currently have no access to the OC of the Month account, please read this because the future of OC of the Month kinda depends on how you take this news.

Well, for over half a year you've know the two people who worked on OC of the Month:

Emmystuck, works as the head administrator in charge of daily operations, including nominations, voting, organization of group gallery, account gallery, and account favorites, also for general applications, like rules, assigning tasks and handling messages and comments.

xVesta, who works as an administrator for minor things, mainly behind the scenes such as, behind the scenes group administration of the admin area, account points accountability and management, record keeping in the group's admin area and other tasks as assigned by Emily.

I want to say it has been a great experience to work on this, to see many other OCs and to make people feel good. It also made me more aware of how positive attention for someone obscure can really make a difference, something I really didn't consider much in the past.. I digress, though. This announcement is nothing about our past.. It actually concerns the future of OC of the Month in general as I mentioned.

The school year is quite a time, especially for use students who still have school, whether it be Jr. High, High school, or College we all have to agree that it really takes time away from us. Since OC of the Month only has two staff on it, we have no other people to delegate our tasks to if they're available to do, so, I'm making this appeal before we just decide to give a final announcement concerning closure and ending OC of the Month permanently.

We're looking for at least two, possibly three at maximum people to take over administration for OC of the Month. Now before we even consider you please review three following criteria for consideration:

- You must be trustworthy. Remember that if we select you, you will receive our password to run the account and group. You only have one chance and locking me and Em out to keep us from periodic checks isn't a good idea. You don't really have ownership. It's just running it.

- You must be able to seriously work on the account. OC of the Month isn't to mess around and be stupid. This is a project that is business. If you can't treat it as such then you're likely not going to be chosen.

- Making it kinda your mission to help those lesser-known OCs be in the spotlight will be crucial in running this project, as it's the main focus/goal.

- To keep you from overextending yourself we ask that whoever is asking for consideration Has the time to run it otherwise it'll be the same problem we're currently experiencing.

After we approve you for consideration we'll start talking with you about what you'd do if you were running the project and how you would manage everything else. We recommend not changing the password to the account, because it is secure and me and Em might want to see how you're doing with it. We may also be available for help if any is needed.

Please do remember that this isn't a short hand topic and that if nothing happens OC of the Month will be closed and will not return. Any questions should be noted to xVesta
